This weekend myself and my partner, Andy, celebrated our engagement. We had a wonderful party surrounded by friends and family. There was so much love in the room!
As I sit here now with the great memories and a mantelpiece full of cards, I am reminded of all the love and support I have around me.
Not just my partner who has been by my side supporting me in my crazy dreams for 8 years now, but my sisters who have always been there to make me laugh and help me to be the best I can be, and my friends, each who bring me so much joy in various ways.
So why am I telling you this, it is so easy to get caught up in the things we don't have and what we need that we sometimes forget to stop and think about all that we do have. The people in our lives that love us and are there to support us.
