Take the first step

This is your first blog post from me. So, it better be good, right?

That's the belief I have right now and it is making me question where to start. I have lots of topics lined up and exciting life-changing insights for you, *how exciting*, but I'm making a big deal out of this being the first one...so let's talk about that.

The belief that something has to be perfect can often stop us from doing what we want to do.

Where in your life is this belief stopping you?

The common myth is that you need to be confident BEFORE you start something but actually confidence comes with action. Whatever it is you want to do, once you get started you will find that it gets easier as you go along and you get more confident as a result. 

Of course confidence also comes from preparation, but that will only take you so far. If you never take the first step you will never be able to take the second, third and fourth.

If you are worried about failing, it is safer to not do anything but then you will never start. This morning I decided I was more committed to serving this community then the possibility of 'looking silly'  

What is one thing you would do if you chose to be more committed to living your dreams than not looking silly? - my challenge for you today is do it!
